Blue Shift
The ‘Blue Shift’ describes a sudden change, like that when evening usurps day – not so much of color as of mood. It suggests an unexpected immobility, not entirely happy: lives caught, forever in place… looking out… authentic voyeurs.
Each piece is made up of 12 or 16, 12”x11”x4” panels with 2” in between each panel. They are enamel and oil paint on naugahyde.
