Words Spoken & Unspoken
An installment of an indefinite number of translucent RPI panels, all 72”x27”, in enamel and pastel, hung to show broadly differentiated but not characterized human figures, walking away but revealing, on the reverse side of each, an identical heart, rendered in the detail of medical illustrations. Recalling the medieval metaphor for human vulnerability, this work in progress suggests the commonality of experience among a willful and wandering people.
